Blair-Bush Iraq War talks should be published in full, says Caroline

Caroline said permitting restrictions on what the public may see is “simply not good enough”.

“It is frankly scandalous that, in the face of mounting pressure, we are being presented with this totally inadequate offering of 'gists' and minimal quotations.

“I have been pushing the prime minister to tell us why the decision on disclosure of talks between Tony Blair and George Bush was taking so long.

"It’s extremely disappointing to find that Sir John Chilcot appears to have conceded as far back as last summer to major restrictions on what the public is allowed to see.

“The effects of the Iraq war are being felt to this day. Censoring the top level talks that led to an illegal invasion: this is simply not good enough.”
