International Women's Day: Does sexism in the media make you angry?

I'm compiling a report to present to the Government’s equalities and media ministers later this year on sexism in the media, and have launched a call on social media today asking people to send me examples of #sexistpress.

For more about the campaign, see here on my news page.

If you'd like to share your examples, you can Tweet me @CarolineLucas using the hashtag #sexistpress, comment on my Facebook page, email me at caroline.lucas.mp@parliament.uk or write to me at the Office of Caroline Lucas, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.

You can also post your examples underneath this blog - a selection will be included in the final report.

If you need any inspiration, check out Just the Women report compiled by a number of campaign groups including Object and End Violence Against Women.

They collated some shocking examples of sexism in twelve British newspapers during a two week period in 2012 and presented their findings to Leveson Inquiry.

Thanks!
