Responding to climate change with a million new jobs
Greens in Parliament will fight for a fair, stable, sustainable economy.
Greens think it's unfair that the government stands by while unemployment skyrockets.
The Greens are fighting for an immediate £44bn investment package, to create over a million new jobs in low-carbon industries ithin 2-3 years - jobs that will start building the 21st century infrastructure Britain needs, with public transport that works; with warm, cheap to run homes; with much lower energy costs for businesses.
Brighton and Hove's Green councillors have already won backing for an expansion of new green jobs in the city. Now Caroline has been elected MP, she will fight for real investment, to roll it out across the country.
The Green Party's million-jobs recovery plan would bring over 4,000 jobs to Brighton and Hove alone, in sectors including public transport, social care, housebuilding and green industries.
