Tackling the economic crisis - regulate the banks
Greens think it's unfair that the government bails out the bankers who got us into this mess, but then won't make sure those same bankers provide the credit that families and small and local businesses need.
As the Green MP for Brighton Pavilion, Caroline will fight for a fair deal with community banks, credit unions and mutuals providing realistic loans to families and small and local businesses.
The Green Party think it's unfair that irresponsible bankers go on earning extortionate salaries while 330,000 people still earn less than the low minimum wage.
Greens MPs in Parliament will fight for a fair ‘Living Wage' for everyone, and a High Pay Commission to make sure bankers and other highly paid executives in the private and public sectors are not rewarded for failure.
