iSKILLu: community-style skill building

Their free website encourages us to share what we know and, in return, get to learn something new from someone else.

The community-style skill building can take place locally, between neighbours, or globally. You could learn how to paint from a Brighton artist, or learn Spanish from a local in Seville over the net…

Samuel Naef, the local tutor who set up the enterprise, says anyone can benefit from skills collaboration: “Everyone has something to share, and we all have many things we want to learn” he says. “It also makes knowledge more accessible for everyone, wherever they are.”

Local social enterprises like iSKILLu are important to me and essential for our city – I wish them the very best luck with it.
